I chose zeas topic because I like To shwim in za wata
I chose this topic because I'm a swimmer and it's something that i enjoy to do. I also like the color choice I did with in my book with the wide variety of bright colors and the contrast that was put into it.
Dry Point Edging project I did a picture I did in drawing 1 because I liked the creativity within the picture and Liked how it had turned out in a drawing. I really like my shadows and how the letter B and the sunglasses really pooped within the pictures. I also liked how I used calm colors and it was easy to see the drawing.
This is my 1 point prospective drawing and it is a aquarium. I chose this because I thought it was a challenge and I thought it would be a good thing to challenge myself. think that my value was really good, but I would definitely
change the stuff within the back ground so that it is more visible and actually shows it is a aquarium.
In our lino cut self portrait I had chose a picture where I was wearing a reflective jacket and when my friend took the picture it had made everything around me black and just made me stick out in the picture. I chose this picture because I thought it was an interesting picture and was unique. With my picture I went straight to copying it on the linoleum block because my picture was already black and white so I got to start on carving mine right away. It took me a while to do it but when I had finished I got to go printing it.I really didn't pick any certain color in particular, but basically that is what we did for our project.
This is my self portrait drawing that we had done in class. It was a 3 hour drawing and was probably my least favorite project. I really didn't like this project because I don't like drawing people, let alone drawing myself. I don't really like anything particular on my drawing, but if i had to pick something I suppose it would be the highlights on the face, other than that I don't like my drawing.
For this assignment we had to make a design and then transfer that to a piece of paper or a t-shirt. My group at chose my deign and had also decided to do it on a shirt. We had to wait a whole day for this green stuff to dry so we could put our logo on the screen. Then after we did that and transferred our logo onto the screen we then had put our colors on it and printed it onto our t-shirt. It had looked okay, but then we had tie-dyed it and it had looked like crap.
Mono Print
For my final mono print I had chosen to do cool colors. I did blue as my bottom color then green, and then finally I did purple. I had just made a whole bunch of random shapes and had hoped for the best. I think that mine looks okay, but definitely has room for improvement. If I changed anything it would be 1. Take my time. and 2. Put more effort into it.
For my 2 point perspective drawing I had chose to draw checker board with eyes holding it up. I really don't have a specific reason for choosing a checker board, but I had chosen the eye balls to hold up the board because it wasn't a hard thing to draw but was a unique thing to draw.
For my block printing design I had chosen to do my initials with stripes going horizontally. I really dfont have a specific reason of doing it I just though it was a cool design. I think some parts turned out better than other the only thing i was change is how I had the white spots and make it so no red showed up there.
For my gray scale drawing I had chosen to draw a mountain rage with fog covering it. It really doesn't look as its suppose to, but it definitely needs more work. If I did anything I would definitely take more time and move the shadows down so it looks more foggy and flows together a little but more.
For my choice drawing I had chosen to draw a car. I don't know much about cars, but I mainly drew it so I could tell my friend that my car drawing is better than theirs. I think I did great on the general layout. Maybe I would change just some of the minor details on the car and perfect them. Other than that it's a great drawing.
